The place of surprises, of elephants, of magic. For some reason, amazing things seem to happen here, whether watching buffalo chase lions or pausing by a waterhole with elephants all around us. In Tarangire National Park almost all tourism is concentrated in the northern areas which leaves the rest as pure wilderness for us to explore, with large tracts exclusive to just us. As in Serengeti, we could explore for days without reaching the end. We often see animals which would top the list for a wildlife connoisseur, such as Lesser Kudu, Gerenuk, Fringe-eared Oryx, and Vulturine Guineafowl.
Here we have had our most memorable experiences with wild dogs, lion, cheetah and, of course, elephant. Our Tarangire Walking Safari is one of our most popular trips over the years, always providing our guests with a thrilling wildlife experience on foot.
