All you have to do is book your international airfare. We handle the rest, from the moment you land until you depart. It’s that easy.
1. YOUR FIRST EMAIL
Drop us an email and let the experience begin. You will liase directly with a veteran safari guide to plan the trip. By email, phone or in person, let us know what you’re after. Want a walking safari? Keen for an all-private luxury safari? Chomping at the bit for amazing photography of the Serengeti wildebeest migration? Or a combo of it all? info@thorntonsafaris.com
2. FINALIZE THE ITINERARY
We draw up a customized detailed, day-to-day, priced itinerary for you to review which we can revise and fine-tune as necessary to make it perfect. We can then finalize the itinerary and get you booked in.
3. ON THE CHARTS
We get you confirmed on our safari charts and firm up 100% all in-country arrangements, whether lodge bookings, charter flights, gorilla permits or anything else.
4. ON CALL ANYTIME
Whether you book your trip 6 months or 2 years in advance, we are on call anytime to meet, chat or email, fielding any questions from flight logistics, visas, special occasions, packing, what to expect, gear tips and anything else. There is never too crazy a question!
5. WITH YOU FROM START TO FINISH
We are with you from when you arrive in-country until you depart, handling all details from airport transfers to bush lunches in the Serengeti. You have nothing to worry about except spotting lions and having fun.
6. ON SAFARI
It’s time to lose yourself and let your guide take over. Your guide knows the best areas to spot game, walk, or orchestrate the perfect sundowers. Not everything happens on Day 1. That’s too easy. Let it unfold, slow down and take it all in.
7. RETURN HOME, KEEP IN TOUCH, COME BACK
“Tutaonana badaye” – see you later. 50% of our guests return again. Join the club, because the menu is never the same, and we will never run out of amazing experiences in Africa. Keep in touch, let us know what your next dream safari is and we’ll share laughs around the campfire once again. (And yes, tell your friends!).
